Signarama is an international sign and advertising franchise with franchisees in 13 countries. Signarama serves a global clientele, helping printing franchisees manage their operations effectively and maintain high standards across all locations.

Signarama has been rapidly growing in South Africa, France, and New Zealand, opening new franchisee stores month to month. To address the challenges of managing and supporting a rapidly growing network of franchisees across three continents, Signarama partnered with Elula Online to develop a software solution.

The project was the birth of KosmoPos, a comprehensive ERP solution designed specifically for Signarama franchises. It streamlines key business operations for managing quotations, orders, invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, and production stages. It seamlessly integrated with Xero to ensures real-time financial tracking.

The core features of the system are to generate, manage and convert quotations into orders efficiently. The system generates invoices and credit notes then syncs with Xero for accurate financial management. The purchase order module allows franchisees to manage supplier orders, track inventory, and reconcile received goods. The production Management module allows the production team to oversee and track every stage of the printing process to ensure timely fulfilment. Kosmopos shares real-time store performance data with the Franchise Office through the Franchise Office system developed by Elula Online which ensures accurate royalty remittances.

Elula Online continues to provide proactive support to Signarama through continuously integrating new features to address the evolving needs of the franchisee network. Elula Online utilized CodeIgniter, PHP, MySQL, MariaDB, and Bootstrap in the development of KosmoPos system for Signarama.

Elula Online significantly boosted Signarama’s profitability and scalability by easing the onboarding of franchisees while ensuring compliance with franchise agreements.

Communication between franchisor and franchisees has improved ensuring streamlined operations and financial accuracy across all business functions. The implementation of the Kosmopos system automated the royalty calculations and remittances using the Franchise Office Management System which Elula Online developed and integrated.

Technology Used
