U Vax One is a digital platform designed to streamline vaccination scheduling, management, and administration by connecting patients, vaccination sites, and healthcare providers on a secure, scalable system.

U Vax One is a digital platform designed to streamline vaccination scheduling, management, and administration by connecting patients, vaccination sites, and healthcare providers on a secure, scalable system. It integrates advanced technology for real-time inventory tracking, appointment scheduling, and data-driven decision-making while complying with HIPAA requirements on a secure Google Cloud Private Cluster. Seeking to enhance their development team, U Vax One engaged Elula Online to build a system capable of tracking COVID-19 vaccines, including their dilution and distribution, while ensuring seamless inventory management across multiple sites.

Elula Online was engaged to provide development support for U Vax One, assisting in building a fully functional vaccine inventory management system. The scope of work included:

  • Developing a functional system with multiple modules for managing vaccine stock movement.
  • Implementing features to track COVID-19 vaccine dilution and distribution.
  • Ensuring seamless integration with state immunisation registries using HL7-prescribed formats.
  • Enhancing scheduling capabilities for vaccine appointments and provider registrations.
  • Supporting real-time data updates for public health organisations to monitor vaccine availability and distribution.
    The system was developed using Python, GRPC, and React, with the backend primarily built in Python. Our team worked alongside U Vax One’s in-house developers to ensure the platform met its objectives efficiently.
  • Successfully delivered a functional system that enabled real-time tracking of COVID-19 vaccine stock, including dilution and distribution.
